People are always asking my opinion on stuff, asking for a suggestion for a printer, a scanner or a digital camera. So here are the recommendations as they stand:

Macintosh:

Power Macintosh G5 Dual 2.3GHz with 2.5GB RAM and 2nd SATA hard drive.
Because it runs the current software as fast as possible and has none of the problems with the Intel Core based models. Maybe next year I'll have a different opinion when there is a Intel native/Universal Binary version of Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and FileMaker Pro.
